The student development centre not only helps them to bring out the research talents, team work in them but also helps them to secure placements as they are through the four year course.

About Principal

Dr. Krishna Reddy has obtained his BE from Osmania University in the year 1993 and ME in Civil Engineerign from BITS Pilani.

He joined Gammon India Limited in 1995, and worked there for 5 years in the areas of Bridges, Industrial Buildings, Intake works and ISO 9001 practices.

Having acquired sifficient knowledge regarding the various industrial practices and with a quest to teach and train students with practical orientation has joined Vasavi College of Engineering, during this period he obtained his PhD from National Institute of Technology, Warangal in the area of Highway Engineering.

As a part of his Research work he has designed and fabricated a Medium Scale Accelerated Pavement Rut Tester which can be used to evaluate rutting resistance of flexible pavaments. He has published more than 10 papers in national and international journals and conferences. He also has a number of expert lectures to his credit. He has conducted a number of national and international workshops. He is also a member to various technical bodies.
